Greetings from the Pennsic 48 Land Staff!
This year brings a consolidation of the rules, guidelines, and handbooks for the Land Office to streamline your Pennsic Prep. Rule and policy changes for Pennsic 48 may encompass more than just the Land Office, so please be sure to familiarize yourself with ALL of the rules and policies of Pennsic before you arrive. (Rules are available via the Pennsicwar.org web site.)
REMEMBER: You as the Land Agent have the final say in who may camp with your group. You are not obliged to accept any camper who risks your groups' good standing with site staff, event staff, or the modern authorities. You may also reject campers because you don't know them or like the cut of their jib, but this authority is why the responsibility for enforcing Pennsic rules and policies lies first with you.
Because of rule violations and misconceptions regarding the use of Single Camping Spaces during Pennsic 47, Land Office would like to reiterate the following rules for everyone concerning the Single Camping areas:
These changes are not the only changes to the Land Rules, and ALL Land Agents should re-read ALL the Pennsic rules and policies before arriving on site. Enforcement of site rules and policies starts with Land Agents, and failure to follow through with your campers can lead to upsetting consequences for your entire group.
New Blocks open on Mt. Eislinn!
Blocks M04 and M07 are now available block choices that you may select while registering your Group for Pennsic. Please check the updated map (not yet available at the time of this writing, but should become available shortly) and consider whether or not getting a jump on seniority in these newly opened spaces could be beneficial to your group.
The Return of N19! (Not the geographic area, but the block NUMBER... )
N18 has been divided into two blocks to provide more road frontage to the many groups who typically register in this space. N19 is now the northern portion of what used to be N18. The southern portion of N18 will remain N18. THIS N19 is NOT to be confused with the N19 space that is now the Jeep Track at the south end of the main Parking Lot. Groups with seniority in the OLD N19 now have seniority marked N19e (East) and Groups who have traditionally camped in N18 have been given the option to transfer their seniority to the new N19 if they wish.
